Inside Sales (Belgium, Ghent area)

General:

As an Inside Sales representative at Iptor you will be responsible for identifying business opportunities by developing new prospects and interacting with existing customers in order to increase interest and qualify leads for the outside sales team. You will have a keen understanding of Iptor’s product offerings, and the ability to demonstrate products to both prospects and existing customer base and to close deals while communicating our value to the market. Iptor is looking for a candidate with the capabilities and ambition to pursue a career path to the role of field sales (outside Sales), becoming responsible for sales at customer site.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the outside sales to achieve their ambitious revenue growth objectives
  • Understand the business of the customer, their needs and requirements
  • Research accounts, identify key players and generate interest
  • Source new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up, outbound calling, e-mail communication and other direct marketing methods
  • Qualify all sales leads, allocate as appropriate, and drive leads through the sales process by initiating face-to-face appointments with Outside Sales team
  • Consistently log and record each-and-every outreach made, in Salesforce.com, producing regular activity reports as requested by manager
  • Perform effective online demos to prospects and customers
  • Close smaller deals independently and achieve quarterly quotas
  • Act as a bridge between Marketing and Sales. Be cognizant of each marketing initiative, and work toward corporate objectives
  • Maintain and expand our sales pipeline

Knowledge Requirements:

  • 3 to 5 years of proven inside sales experience in the software industry
  • Ability to comprehend the Iptor product folio and to communicate our value proposition to prospects and customers
  • Experience in lead generation
  • Understanding of the sales cycle with ability to close deals
  • Track record of (over)achieving targets
  • Strong phone presence
  • Proficient with web presentation tools
  • Experience with Salesforce.com or similar CRM

  • Ability to demonstrate commercial negotiations skills
  • Strong listening and presentation skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Dutch. Knowledge of the French or any other European language is an asset.
