Business Consultant – Publishing (United States)

As a Business Consultant, you contribute to the profitability of the Professional Services (PS) business line, specifically providing and delivering first-class services and support across Iptor’s product portfolio, by understanding customer business requirements to ensure added-value solution.

  • Meet and exceed the agreed personal targets for the current fiscal year
  • Projects: Ensure profitable projects/assignments by following Iptor process guidelines for development and implementation
  • Customer engagement: Ensure that in all business contact with customers, that the Business Consultant conducts themselves professionalism and that customer expectations are managed to secure trust and accountability of the work at hand
  • Processes: Contribute and adopt to software enhancements and improved internal systems and processes
  • Personal Development: Continuously maintain and develop appropriate personal and professional skills to best serve our customers
  • Organization: Actively participate as a team player across projects by collaborating with and supporting Iptor colleagues
  • Administration: Adhere to all Iptor administrative and internal policies
  • Execute project and/or assignment in own area of expertise at any given customer project or customer assignment under the supervision of project manager
  • Execute small assignment on individual basis for customers
  • Lead smaller executions or projects as required by providing

Knowledge Requirements:

  • Business knowledge of Publishing and Distribution industry
  • Knowledge of and experience in using IP1 software in publishing or related industry
  • Specialist detailed knowledge in your nominated processes and application areas
  • ERP implementation project execution knowledge

  • Ability to analyze complex situations and quickly develop appropriate solutions
