Sr. Technical Consultant (Netherlands or Poland)


As a member of the Iptor Managed Services organization, your focus is to deliver infrastructure technical solutions and technical expertise within your area to the Iptor customer base as well as Iptor internal infrastructure. This involves delivery of technical solutions to customers, handling of incidents and problems and perform a knowledge transfer to colleagues within Iptor.

In the role of Technical Consultant Infrastructure, you will be the Iptor face towards customers in projects as well as daily operations. You will deliver on time, high quality solutions to tasks and tickets that are requested from customers. You are expected to have ability to steer and prioritize your own work based on the tasks handed over to you or your group.

Your job will be measured on both billable hours and solution quality delivered to the customers.


  • Responsible for the Iptor network to be available according to SLA and OLA
  • Responsible for the Iptor Cloud network to be available according to agreements
  • Responsible for training colleagues in managing of networks
  • Responsible for delivering consultant work / solutions
  • Responsible for delivering consultant work according to Iptor Service catalogue
  • Responsible to maintain routines how to perform network maintenance and management within Iptor
  • Be part of the daily business of Iptor services from a network perspective
  • Participate in projects to deliver the full-service package to customers
  • Resolve problems escalated from Iptor support as function Level 2 or Level 3 support (depending on your personal skills)
  • Write and maintain operational instructions to colleagues within Iptor
  • Suggest and implement changes needed to keep the Iptor network solutions running 24/7
  • Resolve incidents escalated from Iptor Level 1 support to the Network team

Knowledge requirements:


  • Holder of a Master degree or similar by experience
  • 4 to 8 years of experience within Network management
  • Experience from Cisco and / or Checkpoint Firewall solutions
  • Very good knowledge of Network functionality
  • ITIL certified or general knowledge of ITIL

Good to haves

  • Holder of recent certificate on Cisco and/or Checkpoint firewalls
  • Recent training on LAN and SAN switching technique
  • Experience of another firewall brand than Cisco or Checkpoint
