New Methodology Narrows Focus on Business Goals and Accelerates ROI
FOLSOM, Calif. April 14, 2014 – International Business Systems (IBS), a leading global integrated ERP and supply chain technology provider, today announced a new implementation process called “Plan to Value” (P2V), designed to help customers achieve enhanced value according to tightly defined expectations.
Developed by the IBS Center of Excellence, which is responsible for best practices that can be deployed consistently across the IBS Business Suite, P2V incorporates 35 years of implementation experience across thousands of customer sites. It is an evolution of previous methodologies that allows for rigor, while still driving towards a quick return on investment.
Using P2V’s defined tasks and supporting materials, IBS implementation teams focus on understanding customer business goals throughout the project, then evaluate metrics at a project’s completion to ensure those goals were met.
“P2V represents the knowledge we have accumulated across regions and verticals to deliver increased value to our customers,” IBS VP Center of Excellence, Pat Rohlinger, said. “Our project managers know that mitigating risks and working to reach a target goal are critical to a project’s success. P2V gives them the structure they need to share this with our customers, so that they can more consistently reach their ROI objectives.”
P2V ensures the customer receives long-term value from implementing a standard product. Whether in the cloud or on-premise, P2V allows customers to readily enable future functionality. A flexible training approach is provided, with both in-person and on-demand training available through the IBS Learning Management System. This training, along with preconfigured data and templates, combine to shorten the path to successful projects.
