On February 24th, we awoke with chills to witness a war break out in Europe. As the horrifying events in Ukraine intensify, civilian casualties are on the rise. More than 1.5 million people have already fled west, leaving homes and loved ones behind, and that number is rising every day.
It is heartwarming and inspiring to see the international community come together – speaking with one voice and uniting to provide aid to the escalating humanitarian crisis.
However, more support is needed.
Today, we as Iptor Group announce our Making a Difference #StandWithUkraine Campaign to provide urgent humanitarian assistance to the refugees of this war. Together with our Iptor team in Wroclaw, Poland, we have partnered with Polska Misja Medyczna (Polish Medical Mission) to raise funds on behalf of their SOS UKRAINIA emergency initiative providing local humanitarian aid (medical supplies, food, shelter, clean water) for Ukrainian Refugees fleeing to Poland.
We commit to:
- A direct donation from the Iptor Group of companies
- An additional corporate match for every donation made from our hundreds of employees across the globe.
Also effective immediately:
- All Iptor employees can spend one day a week with pay to provide humanitarian aid to the people of Ukraine, either directly at the border and along the refugee journey west or with organizations supporting the Ukrainian people.
Please join us Making A Difference #StandWithUkraine by supporting the SOS UKRAINIA emergency initiative of Polska Misja Medyczna (Polish Medical Mission):
A SAFE AND FREE PLACE
Since 1999, the Polish Medical Mission Association has been helping the victims of wars, disasters and calamities. The activities of the PMM are based on the work of volunteers: doctors, paramedics, nurses, physiotherapists, as well as psychologists and medical analysts.
The direct impulse that led to the establishment of the Association was the humanitarian disaster caused by the outbreak of war in Kosovo and the mass escapes of Albanians from the conflict areas.
Polska Misja Medyczna is one of the few Polish non-governmental organizations that provide medical assistance.
