IPTOR PRIVACY POLICY

Iptor Sweden AB and our subsidiaries and affiliates (“Iptor” or “we”) know that you care about how the information We receive from and about you are used and shared, and We take your privacy seriously. This policy demonstrates our commitment to your privacy, and covers how We collect and use your Personal Information, how you can control its use, and describes our practices regarding information collected from the Iptor website at www.iptor.com (“Site”), any subdomains of iptor.com, computer or mobile software applications, social media pages and HTML-formatted e-mail messages, as well as through offline sales and marketing activities (collectively, the “Channels”).

Iptor complies with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (“GDPR”) and will never provide unauthorized access to your personal data to any thirty party.

Our primary goal in collecting information is to provide you with a friendly, customized, and efficient experience. We collect the following types of information from our customers:

Personal Information: Through your interaction with and use of the Channels, Iptor may collect Personal Information, which is information that identifies an individual or relates to an identifiable individual. Personal Information may include, but is not limited to: Your name, physical address, telephone number, e-mail address, company affiliation and associated interests.

Automatic Information: When you visit the Site, we collect your Internet Protocol (“IP”) addresses to track and aggregate non-personal information that may include, but is not limited to, browser and device information, data collected through automated electronic interactions, application usage data, demographic information, geographic or geo-location information, statistical and aggregated information.

Statistical or aggregated information does not directly identify a specific person, but it may be derived from Personal Information. For example, we may aggregate Personal Information to calculate the percentage of users in a zip code. In some instances, we may combine Automatic Information with Personal Information, such as combining a geographical location with your name. If We combine Automatic Information with Personal Information, we will treat the combined information as Personal Information.

Email Communication: We may receive a confirmation when you open an e-mail from Iptor and may use this information to help us customize the emails We send to you and enhance their relevance to you. We may also send out emails with information regarding Iptor or our partners including promotions and events. If you complete the request form on the Site for additional information about the Service, we may use your email address to send you information regarding Iptor, our products and services and our partners and partnerships. You may opt out of being contacted by us by sending an email to [email protected], or by unsubscribing through the unsubscribe link in an email.

We may use third party service providers to assist us in any of the above email and marketing functions, but when we do so, we require those providers to enter into confidentiality agreements, or otherwise agree to maintain the confidentiality of any personal information we receive from you. Third party providers need to comply with GDPR.

Iptor and our third-party service providers may collect both Personal Information and Automated Information from a variety of sources that generally fall into three categories:

  • Direct Interactions: From your use of and interaction with us through the Channels and other activities such as submission of registrations and forms, download requests or sales inquiries and transactions.
  • Automated Interactions: From the use of technologies such as electronic communication protocols, cookies, embedded URLs or pixels, or widgets, buttons and tools.

Although Iptor’s use of Automated Interactions may change over time as technology evolves, the following descriptions are designed to provide you with additional detail about Iptor’s current approach to information collected from Automated Interactions.

Electronic Communications Protocols: We may automatically receive information from you as part of the communication connection itself, which often consists of network routing information (where you came from), equipment information (browser type), your IP address (which may identify your general geographic location or company), and date and time.

Iptor may also automatically receive and record information about your interaction with the channels, such as clickstream information (when each Iptor webpage was visited and how much time was spent on the page), or general geo-location data.

Cookies: A cookie is a small data file that is placed on the hard drive of your computer when you visit a website. A “session cookie” expires immediately when you end your session (i.e., close your browser). A “persistent cookie” stores information on the hard drive so when you end your session and return to the same website later, the cookie information is still available.

When you visit our site, we may use both session and persistent cookies. This cookie may contain information (such as a unique user ID) that is used to track your usage of our site and may be used to send you ads or offers when you browse our Site or other websites. We employ cookies to enable our systems to recognize your browser and tell us how and when pages in our Site are visited and by how many people, and for our server to recognize a return visitor as a unique user. The cookies placed by the Iptor server are readable only by Iptor, and cookies cannot access, read or modify any other data on a computer.

Flash Cookies: We may use Flash cookies, also known as “local shared objects,” on our electronic Channels that employ Flash technology. Flash cookies are used to remember the site’s settings to personalize the look and feel of the site. Like normal cookies, Flash cookies are represented as small files on your computer. One method of preventing Flash cookies from being placed is to adjust your preferences in the Macromedia Website Privacy Settings Panel at macromedia.com.

Embedded URLs: Iptor may use a tracking technique that employs embedded URLs to allow use of the electronic channels without cookies. Embedded URLs allow limited information to follow you as you navigate the electronic channels but are not associated with Personal Information and are not used beyond the session.

Embedded Pixels and Similar Technologies: On the electronic channels, Iptor and its service providers may use embedded pixel technologies for the purposes of identifying unique user visits (as opposed to aggregate hits), and for advertising purposes. In addition, embedded pixels or other technologies may be used in e-mails and our online display advertising to provide information on when the e-mail or ad was opened to track marketing campaign responsiveness; information collected using these technologies may be associated with the recipient’s e-mail address.

Widgets, Buttons, and Tools: Our electronic channels may include widgets, which are interactive mini-programs that run on our site to provide specific services from another company (e.g., links to bookmarked sites), along with buttons or other tools that link to other companies’ services (e.g., a “Like” button or third-party map). The widget, button or tool may collect and automatically send personal Information, such as your e-mail address, or other Information (such as your browser information, or IP address), to a third party. Cookies may also be set or used by the widgets, buttons or tools to enable them to function properly or for other purposes, which may include advertising. Information collected or used by a widget, button or tool, including cookie settings and preferences, is governed by the privacy policy of the company that created it.

Google Analytics: This website uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google, Inc. (“Google”). Google Analytics uses “Cookies”, which are text files placed on your computer, to help the website analyze how users use the site. The information generated by the cookie about your use of the website (including your IP address) will be transmitted to and stored by Google on servers in the United States. Google will use this information for the purpose of evaluating your use of the website, compiling reports on website activity for website operators and providing other services relating to website activity and internet usage. Google may also transfer this information to third parties where required to do so by law, or where such third parties process the information on Google’s behalf. Google will not associate your IP address with any other data held by Google. For more information about Google Analytics, or to opt out of Google Analytics, please go to: https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout

No personal Information is provided to the advertisers as part of this process, but aggregate profile information, such as user community, may be used in the selection of advertising to make sure that it has relevance to the user. To learn more and to opt out, visit http://www.networkadvertising.org/choices/ or http://www.aboutads.info/choices/. Please note that opting-out does not mean that you will stop receiving ads. It means that you will stop receiving ads that have been targeted to you based on your visits across non-affiliated websites over time. If you delete cookies, change computers or use another operating system, you will need to opt-out again.
