Adopts SaaS solution to improve efficiency and simplify processes
18th September, 2020 – Axel Christiernsson, a leading Swedish supplier of customized solutions for the global lubricating grease market has expanded its relationship and investment with Iptor, a leader in distribution and supply chain management, planning and logistics software and services, by implementing a new SaaS agreement with Iptor, its flagship cloud-based ERP solution.
An Iptor customer for more than 20 years, Axel Christiernsson has more than 300 employees, production plants in Sweden, the Netherlands, France and the U.S.A and operates globally. As it continues to expand, the company needs to continually improve capacity and efficiency, whilst maintaining consistency and meeting demanding quality standards. Therefore, the decision was taken to implement Iptor DC1, reducing time consuming processes, becoming more streamlined and ensuring capacity flexibility without additional cost – and always ensuring high application availability.
Kristian Niklasson, Iptor President, Nordics, said, “Axel Christiernsson is one of our longest standing customers and this is testament to the importance we place in long-term, trusted relationships. They continually look to develop the way they manufacture their products and need their IT to keep pace with this, so moving to our SaaS solutions was a natural step as they continue to grow and expand into new markets.”
Johan Sturesson, CEO at Axel Christiernsson, said, “We have had 130 years of success and need to ensure we invest in the right areas and with the right partners for our next 130 years. Iptor is such a partner – they continually develop their software and services, as we do our products – and provide a consistently excellent service. We are delighted to continue working with them”.
